No. 2 Stanford Beats No. 10 USC In Four Sets

STANFORD, Calif. -- Foluke Akinradewo had a match-high 19 kills and hit .571 (19-3-28) as the No. 2 Stanford Cardinal defeated the No. 10 USC Women of Troy, 3-1 (25-10, 22-25, 25-21, 25-18), in a Pac-10 Conference match. Alix Klineman chipped in 17 kills for a Stanford squad that hit .331 on the evening while USC committed 26 hitting errors.

Trojans Welcome Four Newcomers To Women's Basketball

USC head coach Mark Trakh has hauled in another top-10 recruiting class for the next women's basketball season, boasting a bumper crop of incoming talent with the signings of Kendall Hackney, Christina Marinacci, Monique Oliver and Vicky Tagalicod to join the Women of Troy in 2009.
