UNLV Rebels

The 2008 season ended on Nov. 29, with a 3-0 loss to then-#14 Florida. The Rebels finished the year 16-14 overall and tied TCU for fourth in the Mountain West with identical 9-7 records.

After posting its first winning non-conference record in three years at 7-6, UNLV now begins Mountain West Conference play this week with a pair of games against the top-two RPI rated teams in the league. The Lady Rebels begin by taking on New Mexico, who had been ranked 25th last week and are currently 22nd in the most recent RPI, on Wednesday in the Pit in Albuquerque at 6 pm (PST).

TreVon Willis had 15 points Saturday night to lead the Rebels to a 60-58 victory against New Mexico in the Mountain West Conference opener for both schools.
