Bruins Go The Distance With Cal Again But Come Up Short

For the fourth straight match, UCLA and California went five sets. But for the third time in a row, the Golden Bears picked up the win, as #7 Cal defeated the ninth-ranked Bruins on Friday at Haas Pavilion. Scores were 25-17, 24-26, 25-27, 28-26, 13-15. Senior Ali Daley paced UCLA with a season-high 19 kills and a career-best 28 digs and seven blocks.
