Louisville Cardinals

The Jacksonville Dolphins scored two goals in under 3 minutes including the game-winner in overtime and stunned the Louisville Cardinals 4-3 Friday night at Cardinal Park in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.

The University of Louisville Cardinal swimming and diving team had four first places and set three school records in the first day of the five-school field in the Indiana Hoosierland Invitational Friday night in Bloomington.

The 9th ranked Louisville Cardinals will play 22nd ranked Xavier Saturday at noon in the Cintas Center. The game will be aired live on CBS College Sports. The Cardinals enter the game with a 2-0 record while Xavier is coming off a tough six point loss to North Carolina Wednesday night in the preseason WNIT.

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The nation’s best post-graduate programs are gathered under one roof for the weekend. They were joined by a powerful high school team from Vegas at the National Prep Invitational. Hassan Whiteside and Avery Bradley were two of the noted first day standouts.

Brandon Sharpe, linebacker from Virginia Beach-Ocean Lakes, Va., will take an official visit this weekend. The 6-foot-2, 218-pound prospect received high marks from his head coach.

Cartersville (GA) standout Morgan Alexander is leading his team on a playoff run, but he also could be deciding on his college future in the next few weeks. Alexander makes his first official visit to Louisville this weekend.
