LINCOLN, Neb.- The Iowa State women's swimming and diving team picked up their first victory of the Nebraska Invitational in the last event of the day at the Devaney Natatorium on Friday. After the second day of the event, the Cyclones sit fifth with 371 points.

MADISON, Wis. – Second-rated Iowa State fought off No. 12 Wisconsin early in the Kohl Center Friday,  cruising to a 27-7 victory over the Badgers fueled by bonus-point victories by Jon Reader (165) and Nick Fanthorpe (133).  ISU notched its 12th straight victory over Wisconsin with the offensive showcase, outnumbering the Badgers in takedowns 16-6. 

Hey there Cyclone fans, welcome to the final edition of my weekly blog for the 2008 season.  For this final week, we prepare to face off against the Kansas State Wildcats at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.  Kickoff is set for 2:30 p.m., and should be a very exciting game. Unfortunately, this is our last game of the season and last game ever for many players like me so hopefully we can end our season on a good note as we head into Thanksgiving break.
