The ongoing investigation into last week's brawl involving Florida State players and an FSU fraternity means another Friday of uncertainty on the eve of another critical ACC game.

The Florida State diving team put its stamp on the first day of the Georgia Tech Diving Invitational on Friday with the men taking three of the top five positions on one-meter and the women earning four of the top eight spots on three-meter. The Seminoles were the only team to place three men and four women in the top eight.

Florida State, which has won its first three games, plays host to Coastal Carolina in the first round of the Global Sports Classic at the Donald L. Tucker Center on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. The Seminoles' game against the Chanticleers is the first of four games (two in Tallahassee and two in Las Vegas) the Seminoles will play over the next eight days in the Global Sports Classic. The event includes eight teams from eight different leagues who will all met at the Thomas & Mack Center next Friday and Saturday to declare the tournament champion.

The Florida State Seminoles will travel to Chevy Chase Bank Field at Byrd Stadium to take on the #22 Maryland Terrapins at 7:45 pm on ESPN. This game is an important matchup in the Atlantic Division standings. Florida State has not beaten Maryland at home since 2002. The Noles’ will try to end that current streak during Maryland’s Blackout Game.
