Start’em Sit’em Week 12
Filed Under Fantasy Sports, NFL |
It is time to get your starting line-ups in for week 12. Don’t forget that there are games on Thursday this week. If you need some help on who are strong plays, please read on. We are excited to share the research we did this week to help you win your games and get you into the FF playoffs. Here is what we think:
QBs – Matt Schaub came back last week and immediately found Andre Johnson for a 76-yard touchdown. This week the Texans play the second-worst pass defense in the league, Cleveland. Schaub should be able to find Johnson and Davis early and often. Look for Schaub to go for 250 yards and 3 TDs.
Jason Campbell has been coming around as a passer, but that changes this week. Campbell and company face the tough Tampa Bay pass defense. We don’t expect Campbell to throw for more than 175 yards, and he may get a lucky TD.
RBs - The obvious choice for our start of the week is Willie Parker against the Dolphins; however, that is too easy, so we are going with Cedric Benson against the Denver Broncos. Benson looked pretty good last week against the Seahawks and should have some better holes as Grossman likes to stretch the defense. Benson looks like he should have 100 yards and a TD against the Broncos.
Last week made all the Thomas Jones owners feel all warm and fuzzy. This week, they will be back to the ledge, ready to jump. Dallas has been solid against the run and will force the Jets to beat it through the air. Look for other options this week at RB.
WRs – You don’t want your RB playing against the Minnesota Vikings defense, but you do want your QB and WR. Plaxico Burress should have a great game on Thanksgiving night. He is going up against the worst pass defense in the league and is playing in the spotlight, which he loves. He should go for 125+ yards and a TD.
This is a nightmare week for the Philadelphia Eagles. Donovan McNabb is banged up and may not play. That is always a problem, but it is even worse when you are facing the Pats. The real losers are FF owners that are counting on Kevin Curtis or Reggie Brown to produce. We would look for other options if we had these guys.
This could be a huge offensive week. Make sure that you are getting your players with the best match-ups in your line-up. As always, if you have questions, hit us up. We are always ready to help our loyal readers.
